The Buck 97070 Diamond Pocket Sharpener is a small sharpening rod to sharpen your knives. The sharpening steel has a diamond coating with a grain size of 400 grit. Diamond is a lot harder than steel. It can easily sharpen steel. Another property is that diamond hardly gets clogged up with sharpening residue. You don't add water or oil as you sharpen your knife.
